We have had the pleasure of visiting Jordan with the St. Olaf Study Group and hosted by our guide, Nasser Abu Al Kheir, along with our driver, BJ. 

The knowledge, kindness and generosity of Nasser will be with us always.  The sites we visited are beautiful...Jordan is a wonderful country.  The journey Nasser led us on through the Siq was humbling and filled with spiritual awareness.  The care he demonstrated when Larry became ill in little Petra was outstanding.  And he continued to help us both through the journey at the Petra hospital, his prayers and continued contact in Amman.  We have been blessed to visit many countries in the world, and the people of Jordan have been the most generous.  Nasser is at the top of the list. 

BJ's driving skills are unmatched.  There were many times we looked at roads we didn't think a bus could navigate and BJ made it look easy.  He also went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable during our tourist visits.  His assistance at the hospital in Petra was very welcomed.  Ginny appreciated his care.

We have been humbled by the compassion shown all through our extended stay.  Everyone at Jordan Select Tours has been very helpful in answering any questions or offering suggestions.  The flowers delivered by Mohammed are beautiful. 

While we look forward to our return home, we will always remember the people of Jordan and look forward to a return trip in the future.

About one week has passed since we got back to reality again.
We are still overwhelmed by the fantastic arrangements you have created for us five. The journey became to an amazing adventure.Everything was so well arranged by you. We were met like VIP:s at the airport and was driven by the very,very nice Mohammad, who we had the pleasure to met once again when he drow us to Damascus. The day after  our arrival we met the lovely Emad who took us further on. He was very concerning and openminded ,asked us all the time if we had any special wishes and gladly effected them if we had any. He was not only the  talented driver he was our guide also during the trip south and fullfilled that task very well.
We also recommend the very nice guide we had at Petra. He was interested enough to learn our names, which is not very usual.

As we arrived in Syria Yaseen Allatif met us at the border. He assisted us through the border formalities and welcomed us to Syria  with gifts and maps to us all. Then he accompanied us the whole way trough Syria and all the places we planned to see. He was a wonderful man, extremely talented in telling us all about the old places and the new Syria. He was really a perfect guide and a very nice companion. He escorted us to and inside the airport in Damascus, very concerning. We really recommend him to be used for other tourists. Please transfer our information to the Syrian Travel agency, Sherezade! In Syria the driver was  Ahmad, who patiently waited for us in many places. He was also very nice although a bit absent in his mind, thinking of his newborn child 2 days before we met him. Despite this he fullfilled his mission with skilled driving and a good humour.

The journey has really lived up to our expectations except one thing. That was the accommodation, which exseeded all our expectations. From the wonderful rooms in Amman and Petra "Guest House", the latter not at all a guest house but a luxorious hotel perfectly situated and comfortable , to the amazing hotels in Damascus and Aleppo as taken from Thousand and one Night!! We have never in our lives stayed at any hotel like these, with such an athmosphere from the 17th century and stylish decoration. We were so happy and talked many times about the wonderful Manar who had arranged it. So the accommodation was really one of the greatest highlights on our journey!
We will also remember  all kindness, friendliness and concern from everybody we met both in Jordan and Syria. I hope we can pay a new visit to this region some time in the future. I will also tell you that we have really recommended your agency and specially you to our friends. Many are very interested to go, some of them very seriously.
Now we have our memories left and  all the pictures and a video, which I have started to edit.
We all wish you good luck in the future and bring you a deep gratefulness!

We are now back in Australia after a far too short a trip in your country. you asked us to complete a questionnaire on our trip. We have searched everywhere but have not been able to find it. I will however try to guess what is in it and give the following answers.
1. arrival process. - Excellent, Everything was handled efficiently and effectively with the minimum of fuss and the briefing on our schedule was appropriate.
2. Driver - Both Esam and Samir were excellent. They were good fun to be with and very engaging in conversations. They were always on time and waiting for us at the required time. The cars were clean and very comfortable
3. Accommodation - The Crowne Plaza deserves an excellent but as we had had some really great accommodation in Egypt we downgraded it slightly mainly because. the room size was slightly smaller than our other hotels but the view from our room just breathtaking. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and we feel that this is the only place we would stay should we return.
4. The guide into Petra.- I know this was out of your control but he was excellent. Carol was not feeling well and he made sure that we walked at her pace and made the walk in as special as possible. He then took Carol all the way back to the hotel. This was above what we could reasonably have expected.
5. Overall - We have nothing but good things to say about the entire trip. It was perfect from start to finish. We would certainly recommend your company to others travelling to the region and would also use your company again should we return.
The only downside was the trip was far too short. I could have spent another day in Petra itself and reading your brochure there are now many other places that are on our list to see.

 Having been in the Travel Business myself, I know how important constructive feed-back is, but in this case we genuinely cannot think of any constructive criticism, except to say that the world does not know enough about what you have to offer....more advertising!!!
Our drivers were Hitham Khaleel and Esam and they  were both outstanding.  We cannot compliment them enough....Well informed, helpful, good driving, and easy to get along with.  A great support in the matter of the swallowed Credit Card!!
A real  pleasure and people you can be proud of.  Very comfortable vehicles too!
We had   two guides as well, Ma'moun at Petra - a MINE of amazing information, and we felt it a priviledge to be on the receiving end of all that knowledge. 
Beauty at Jerash was just as pleasant, and gave us lots of interesting insights into the site.
Airport assistence was spot on and VERY helpful....what would we have done without you????  You obviously have all the right contacts, Mr. Zghoul, and we were impressed to see you helping the two ladies in distress as well!!
The accommodation was amazing, and we felt it was lucky that we got it at the END of the tour otherwise we would have been spoilt for the rest! All hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms and service without fault. 
Our overall impression of the tour was absolutely excellent!   Mr. Mahommed and Jasmine were extremely  helpful and accommodating in the matter of changing our schedule and we were most grateful, as it would have been terrible to miss the Dead Sea!!!!  Many thanks for the No Charge change to the Kempinsky! 

And so - ten out of ten!!!! We cannot think of even a tiny fault!!!!  Thanks again for everything and we will certainly be raving about Jordan to whoever we tell about out trip.

Our driver, Badder was great! He was always on time to pick us up at all our hotels and sites. He even took the time out to write down and teach us some Arabic words and phrases. He also knew great places for us to stop and take pictures which he would do so on our drive to our destinations and would always offer to take pictures for us so we could be in them. Well what can I say – we had a delightful 4 days in Jordan – it’s a wonderful place and had such an interesting and good time.

There were so many good points – from the exhilarating 4x4 ride in Wadi rum to floating in the Dead sea. Not forgetting the highlight
which was of course Petra – doing this by night was extra special , we looked forward to seeing it by day – which was just as awe inspiring.
Mansouir (our driver) was nothing short of excellent – co-ordinating our tour and ‘fitting in’ all the sights, in fact he almost became
one of the family. I must congratulate you on the choice of hotels, they got better as we progressed, and the Movenpick at the Dead Sea was incredible – we were sorry it was only one night and wished it were two.

As Christians the visit to Mt Nebo and Bethany meant so much.

My cousin and I returned home last week from a month-long trip which ended with tour in Jordan.  We had seen and experienced so many spectacular things along the way and Jordan was no exception.   We were VERY sad to leave and already wish that we were back in your beautiful country!   We want to thank everyone at Jordan Select Tours for organizing such an amazing tour for us – we couldn’t have been more pleased!  Everything from the beginning to the end was amazing - you are a first class tour company.  The many historical wonders/sites, the beautiful Jordanian landscape, the warm, hospitable and welcoming people are just a few of the reasons why we fell in love with Jordan.  


I would also like to send a special thank you to our driver, Mr. Mohammed .  We would not have come away from the experience with such a personal and heartfelt affection towards Jordan and its people without the kindness and hospitality that he showed us.  Professionally keen and generous with his knowledge of the country, Mr. Rawwash made us feel welcome and at home throughout the trip.  Our time in Jordan would not have been as memorable or enjoyable without him.

history and practices of the entire region. He is courteous, punctual,

This was just one of many thoughtful acts that Mohammad did for us during the trip.

Last week, my wife and I booked a tour through your company while we were visiting Amman, and we had the honor of having your employee Abraham (Ibrahem) as our driver.  When he picked us up, he treated us so very well—he always opened our doors and if we attempted to open them ourselves, he insisted that he do it; he treated us with food and drinks that he paid for out of his own pocket; when he found out that we liked falafels, he pulled off at a store and bought us some (again, from his own pocket); he spoke English very well and told us facts that none of our tour books even listed; and I could go on and on about him.  When our day ended, we didn’t want to get out of his car—we made a friend that day and one that we will never forget.  My wife and I had just finished a tour in Egypt before arriving in Amman, and none of the tour guides we had on that tour could even match the friendliness and professionalism Ibrahem provided.  Even when we tipped him, he refused to take it!  Given our many experiences we had with others in Jordan that is unheard of! 
Also, I want to mention how much we appreciated your employee Rae’d.  He accompanied us to the airport for our departure back to America, and along the way, he stopped at a store and bought us falafels out of his own pocket.  Without his help at the airport, my wife and I would have NEVER made it on the plane.
I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate Jordan Select and if we hear of anyone else going to Jordan, we will definitely recommend your company to them based upon the wonderful experience we had.

Firstly, let me appologise for such delay in my correspondence but I have been quite busy since I came back from Jordan.
I wanted to let you know that everything went perfectly well and even better than what I expected. To be honest, I have been to Jordan on numerous occasions for both business and tourism and this trip was definitely the best I had.
My 2 nephews were very impressed by their first trip to the Middle East (I think Jordan is a good place to start).
I must also tell you that our guide and driver, Ali, was absolutely fantastic with us. He was providing all information and support, and I know I have put him under a lot of pressure the day we did the trip to Aqaba and then back to the Dead sea. All this driving in one day, I feel very guilty about it.
Could you please pass him our thanks and warmest regards (from Geoffroy, Guillaume and Nicolas). I also promised him a photo that we took all together in Amman and I would be grateful if you could give it to him.
