We are planting trees!

Jordan Select Tours has continued its tree planting efforts, and our tree planting count has reached over 3500. We started planting trees in Gilead in the north of Amman a few years back and are proud that we are now the custodians of one of Jordan's youngest forests. By travelling with us you can help Jordan become a greener place. Clients are more than welcome to visit our forest!

Jordan Inbound Tourism Association organizes FAM trips to Salt.

Few people know that Salt used to be the largest city in Jordan and its capital until it was moved by King Abdullah I. Salt features some of the most dramatic architecture in Jordan. Its houses were built mostly in yellow sandstone and incorporate a variety of styles, mixing Ottoman, local and European influences. The concept of Hosh (internal courtyard) is seen in many of salt’s ancient houses, as are domed roofs and arched windows. Although Salt was for years neglected when it came to tourism, this is slowly changing. With the help of several donor agencies, new investments in tourism infrastructures have been implemented. The Salt Archaeological Museum will be featured during the tour that JITOA is organizing for the directors of member companies during February.
